Shortly after finishing up his tour of service in the United States Marine Corps, Lee Alexander got involved in the new and exciting sport of Drifting back in 2006. In 2008 he began to compete in local drifting competitions with some of the best amateur drifters on the east coast, showing great potential and sportsmanship. Traveling from Florida to Ohio, New York and Virginia to participate in drifting events of all levels.
He has deepened his involvement in the sport by organizing and helping run the drifting series at Summit Point raceway in West Virginia and teaching drifting beginners the basics of the sport. He is very passionate about the longevity of drifting and would like to see it continue to grow and become more popular. 2011 was an extraordinary year for Lee, which he competed in the entire east coast leg of the XDC series and also participated in nearly a dozen other local and regional drifting events. Lee showed that he has what it takes to perform well at this level of competition and is ready to go even bigger in 2012.
