Name: Brody Goble
Hometown: White Rock, British Columbia, Canada.
Car: RB25DET S13 240SX
Brody’s racing background began at a young age racing go-karts, the most traditional form of driver development. A racer can never praise how much a kart can teach a driver. Anything from physical endurance to learning kart/car control, it is the most demanding form of racing. He ran many years in karts from the age of 14 and several of these were in the top level "Stars of Karting" national series. He continues to coach fellow drivers in karting and gave back to a sport that has given him so much.
With a logical progression, in 2008 he won a scholarship test with Formula BMW North America (open wheel formula car) based on his karting achievements. With a mix of 1-off special events (karting/drifting/road racing) and attending University from 2008-2011 it was time for another full season of racing. The past 2011 season he ran a complete SCCA Spec Miata National Sports Car campaign all while testing his skill with drifting. In the 2011 season he won the CACC Rookie of the Year as well as qualifying himself for the SCCA National Run-offs at Road America in the hugely competitive Spec Miata class. (2nd place SCCA Northwest Region)
Drifting has always been a passion for him and in his first drift event ever (Coast Drift 2008) he drew from previous race experience to bring home a 3rd place finish out of 18 drivers. In 2012 he and his team will be focusing all of their efforts on drifting.
